The 100-mile challenge is

a race that takes place in the William B. Umstead State Park every year and is open to runners, cyclists, and hikers. The event begins on Saturday morning at the park's entrance and ends 100 miles later back at the RDU entrance. Several shorter races take place during the day including a 25k, 50k, and 100k race. The races are open to runners and cyclists of all levels and the event is a great way to see the beautiful park while also testing your endurance.
