University of North Carolina State University
The University of North Carolina State, or NC State for short, is one of the oldest universities in North Carolina. It was founded in 1887 as a land-grant college under the Morrill Act by act of Congress. The university has grown to be one of the most prestigious institutions in the country with over 33,000 students enrolled annually and an alumni population that exceeds 360,000 people.
There are almost 200 majors offered at NC State and it is ranked number 20 on U.S News & World Report's list of top public colleges and universities. NC State is known for its strong engineering and business programs, but it also has a well-rounded liberal arts curriculum. Some of the unique features of the university include a veterinary hospital, an agricultural research center, and one of the largest student life recreation facilities in the country.
The campus is beautiful with over 1800 acres of land and dozens of gardens and green spaces. There are also plenty of opportunities for students to get involved on campus, with over 900 student organizations. NC State has something for everyone, and it's no wonder that it is one of the most popular universities in the country.
The university has a conference center which is situated at the Memorial Bell Tower. There are also 16 meeting rooms which have AV equipment that include projectors, screens and more.
The university is home to the oldest student-run newspaper in North Carolina which was established in 1911. It has a circulation of approximately 20,000 copies that are distributed across campus free of charge every Thursday morning during fall and spring semesters.
Some other things I love about NC State:

-The campus is absolutely gorgeous with lots of green spaces, gardens, and trees
-There are over 900 student organizations for students to join.
-Numerous opportunities to get involved on campus through research projects or study abroad programs.
-I love the location of NC State because it's right in Raleigh which is a great city with lots of things to do.
-The faculty are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects.
-The campus is large but it's easy to get around because there are so many sidewalks and bike paths.
-I've never had a bad experience at NC State, everyone I've met has been incredibly friendly and welcoming.
There are so many reasons to love NC State, and I could go on for hours! If you're considering attending this university, I highly recommend it. It's a great school with amazing faculty, staff, and students. You won't regret your decision to attend NC State University!
